So I've been wondering about this for awhile. A few years back I made my side blog for my AG doll Celestina Damon, who is my Gorillaz OC, though I still need to get other dolls to be her other friends. I post my other AGs here though, like Kami, Samantha, Lindsey, etc. Should I just merge all the dolls onto my Celestina side blog and make it just a doll side blog. It'll be easier to do photo challenges, I won't have to do separate photos for each blog, and I can probably make a Google doc with character profiles and the like. But hey, what do you guys think? Keep in mind, I made Celestina's blog when she and Kami were my only dolls, but now I have about 6 (7 including my Disney ILY I made into Cyborg Noodle), so now I want a way to include them all.

Today April 8th, I braided all my dolls hair (as well as my own) in honor of Cole Brings Plenty. Cole was a Lakota actor who was found murdered with his hair cut. Rising Hearts has asked that everyone, indigenous or not, wear braids to honor him and remember those that have suffered the same. I even put in small braids for the dolls that have short hair.

Kami: Something with flowers or butterflies. Or one of the Powerpuff Girls flying over Townsville. Or Care Bears, you can never go wrong with Care Bears.

Ellie: I'd probably have one with a ballet dancer. But I had a funny idea for one with my favorite show. It'd have Johnny Knoxville, Steve-O, Bam, Chris and the rest riding in the giant shopping cart like in the movie. Haha that's kinda silly. (yes she likes Jackass, but I never refer to it by name in my stories, this was kinda a joke based from when I was in elementary school, and we'd avoid using the name out loud so we wouldn't get in trouble for swearing, surprisingly a lot of kids in class were fans lol)

Celestina: I'd like anything with bunnies or pandas, or maybe have one of my dad and his band playing in front of Kong Studios (if you didn't know, Celestina is also my Gorillaz OC, 2-D's daughter)

Lucy: I'd love anything with black cats or bats. I love the spooky "Halloween" snow globes.

Cy: I'd love anything beach or tropical themed. Maybe something with Lilo and Stitch too.

Kai: "I want a snowglobe of a powerful, inspiring woman of color. Like Deb Haaland, or AOC!"

Lenore: "something floral. maybe a flower fairy?"

Remy: isn't really into snowglobes, but would like one with disney Hercules, or a Final Fantasy character.

Jeannie: a snowglobe of her favorite city, maybe one of the Portland bridges? no, of the city her dad lives in. (this is when i realized we're having a moment and that Jeannie's dad doesn't live with them??) I'd created an older sister for Jeannie, and their dynamic, and thought about how her parents would interact with Remy's moms. but i'd only thought about her moms. i think either jeannie's parents are divorced, or her dad left and lives in another state. (hmmm, this doesn't remind me of my life, not a bit) but either way her dad isn't very cool with the gays so that adds a whole new dynamic to her story!

Yukiko: "a snowglobe of Duffy! oh OH, no one of the Disney Partners statue!!"

Zuzu: "a ballerina. or my family. or, the nutcracker! no wait, Charlotte Debes as the first Black Marie in the NYC Nutcracker!" and then i hyperfocused to remember her name and then found her book as an ebook from my library....

Robyn: wants a cute animal. no preference, she'll buy any cute animal one. would also totally buy a cute rainbow snowglobe for pride

Marisol: would absolutely buy a dreidel-themed hunaukkah snowglobe. would also get a Charlotte debres one, and ones of other ballet characters. hoops, odette, the nutcracker.

Sorry I haven't posted in awhile. Idk what happened, but now I'm missing posting on dollblr, so I'm back. Anyways, I have some new friends with me. For the first time since I was a child, I finally got a new doll straight from AG. I ended up having enough Christmas money to get a doll and her accessories (and at the time, there was a Christmas sale that helped me get her), so I went with Corrine. Only, I'm sorta remaking her into my own character, I'm renaming her Colleen. Still kinda thinking of a personality for her (I'm thinking of a creative type, but I feel like that describes many of my dolls lol). All I know is she looks beautiful in anything I dress her in.

Today is my birthday, and I'm bringing Celestina (and my other doll Kami) to see Little Mermaid with me. I made Celestina a rainbow mermaid scale dress, thought it was fitting since it's the last day of Pride, go out with a bang. And now I have 2 Ariel mini dolls, and Celestina loves them, says they're sisters. Be on the lookout for more pics today!

Yeah, it's been awhile since I posted, but I got new outfits for Celestina and Cy. I think they kinda fit into pride, Celestina's even kinda looks like the Bi Pride flag (if you ignore the few yellow stripes lol). I've also been refreshing and fixing my dolls lately. I tightened Celestina's limbs and gave her hair a boil wash and recurled it. Kinda looks different though, but still cute and bouncy. I'll be posting more doll pics later.

Got a cute Christmas photo of Cy and Celestina by the tree. I really like this outfit on Cy, I honestly think of this as her meet outfit, (but I also did her canon Cyborg Noodle outfit, may post later). I'm just kinda spending Christmas Eve sewing, making cookies, and watching movies, right now watching Encanto.

Celestina and Cy have received their winter gifts from the dollblr swap.

Celestina got a pretty star print dress, and Cy got the top part of her Cyborg Noodle outfit, I'd just need to print the patches for it. I actually started working in her outfit, but tbh, the top looks better than mine. I just need to make her hat now lol. Now lastly, I'd like to know who sent me this, as I don't recognize the name on the return address. I'm sending a card with my swap gift, so the person who gets it will know it's me. You don't have to come forward if you don't want to, but I'd really like to credit you if you see this. Thank you so much! And thanks to @agwinterwonderland for organizing this.

Doll to-do list for 2022

Celestina's friends and others

- Get my Lucy Phillips doll, a CYO, this one is top priority as I'm getting close to having enough money to get her.

- Get Kailey Green doll, another CYO.

- Get Jason Gomez, my first AG boy doll. My original plan was to get the Sonali mold boy (who I've mistakenly thought was a Josefina boy for some reason for the longest time), but if he is completely discontinued, I'll make do by customizing a Josefina with a boy wig and clothes.

- Finish the Meet Celestina story I've been working on, possibly work on Celestina Learns a Lesson.

- Make some basic outfits for Lucy, casual outfits, coat, pajamas, tees and jeans, ect. She has a goth/punk aesthetic, so her outfits are more specific than my other dolls.

- Possibly get Celestina's ears pierced.

- Once I get the 3 previous dolls together with Celestina and Cy, I'll have all the band members of Starshine, and I'll do some band stuff with them, like pics of performances, or interviews or something.

Other stuff I want to do outside my Celestina/Gorillaz universe thingy.

- Send my first AG doll Kami to the doll hospital, I've had her since 2005, and she's long overdue and some stuff is way too advanced for home repairs.

- Find someone to help me restring Ellie's legs (she had a wig change, so she can't be sent to the doll hospital).

- Make outfits for Ellie.

- Make a CYO of my 90's era OC, Priya Romano

- Make a CYO of my Rick and Morty OC Morti Smith (she's basically a girl Morty, for those of you who don't know, since in the show there are like a million different Ricks and Mortys because of multiverse things, fans R&M OC's are just, different Ricks and Mortys, yes I'm aware this is weird. I made a CYO of my OC in the maker as a joke, and I ended up loving the design, so now I wanna get her and create cute yellow outfits for her lol, anyways).

- I want to go to the American Girl store in Columbus, and I might be able to do that around my birthday in the summer.

- if possible, get my favorite Historical girls, secondhand market or otherwise (Molly, Samantha, Addy, and Courtney), maybe the WBU girls and Corrine.

I'm not sure how many of these I'll actually accomplish as I've been having trouble getting a job and money, but for now, I'll find some way to get the first 3 dolls I want, and get Kami to the doll hospital, if I can do those this year, I will be happy. Its kinda saying something I don't really have much of a collection, as I have only 3 AGs and a customized Disney ILY 4ever.

Celestina's Day Out

Sorry I haven't posted in awhile, I've just been busy, and Celestina has been busy with school. But today I brought Celestina along with me when me and my boyfriend went on a special outing.

First we had dinner at Fazoli's. We haven't been there in awhile, and the food was so good.

Next we went to Books a Million, and we obviously went to the best place in the store, the manga section of course!

Celestina: You can just leave me here, I can find my own way out, thank you!

Celestina: Wow! Look at all this Stitch!!!!

Celestina: Junji Ito makes for some great upcoming Halloween reads, but is definitely not for the faint hearted. Lucy would love these.

I found more of those "happy and angry" octopuses, only they're the real thing and not the knock offs.

In the end, I ended up getting a copy of JJBA Golden Wind, and my boyfriend got Alita Battle Angel. I wanted to get one of the octopuses as well, but maybe next time (note, the stuff we did today was all outside of town, we haven't been to that area together since last summer lol).

But anyways, the main thing we did today was see the special 35th anniversary showing of Labyrinth in theaters. It was so fun, I love (and miss) David Bowie and I enjoyed this movie the few times I saw it as a kid, my boyfriend never saw it before and he enjoyed it too. We got our pictures with these two girls cosplaying Sarah, one even had her own little baby doll to play as Toby. Also I should note I cut my hair a few months ago haha. I wanted to take a pic of Celestina in the movie theater seat, but we arrived right when it started lol. Anyways, we had so much fun.

Yesterday Celestina got a special present from Uncle Dashi. He made a cute galaxy themed dress and it also came with a matching pouch, which at his suggestion, I turned into a purse. Celestina would love wearing this when her band performs, and she'll wear it for the rest of Christmas Eve. Thanks so much @princesstadashi.

Celestina: I never got a chance to show my new back to school outfit, my David Bowie sweater (miss you Star Man) and the sailor skirt I made myself and my new panda backpack. My school used to have to have everyone wear uniforms, but recently the uniform rule was relaxed to be optional, so we can wear what we want within reason, so this is the first time in a few years I got to do a special back to school outfit.

(I've finally been able to sew when I want again, so I've been finishing some projects lol).

So I never got a chance to show some birthday presents I received from @princesstadashi this summer.

He sewn Celestina this really cute sweet lolita ensemble with the pink and blue cotton candy colors Celestina loves. She's also wearing new silver flats and a ribbon collar with a gummy bear charm.

Cy: What!? Is that doll a tiny me? How cute!

He also sent me some mini Pocky in strawberry, chocolate, and cookies and cream flavor, and a little Hello Kitty milkshake keychain. Not pictured is the real candy as I ate it all lol. Anyways thank you so much to Tadashi, and go follow his doll blog @agrosehamada.

So I got a ILY 4ever doll a few days ago. I ended up cutting her hair short and was honestly happy on how it turned out. Pics don't do her justice, she's so cute in person, and I love her so much. It was tricky to get her as the nearest Target is out of town, so I had to make a trip to get there, but I was happy to bring her home.

I redressed her in a new MLA outfit I bought, and she looks so cute in it, also I can't wait to get future ILY outfits to share with her and my AG dolls as well.

Anyways, this new doll, it's kinda tricky to explain about her, she's the same story as Celestina in the Gorillaz universe, but this girl is not so much an OC as much as a different version of a canon character. Short version, this girl will be Cyborg Noodle (called Cy to not confuse her with actual Noodle), and she's a reformed version of the canon character that ends up being adopted by Lucy's family and lives as her younger sister (Lucy is another OC I have yet to get a doll for, working on it just broke lol, Lucy is Celestina's best friend, later girlfriend). I will be making special outfits for her, one of them based from canon Cyborg Noodle, others more casual. I'll post more about her as I finish making her look, as her backstory is pretty plot heavy, especially for those who don't know much about the Gorillaz lore. She was basically rescued by Lucy during the events in the song The Lost Chord, and being the tech genius she is, she fixed her and Lucy and Celestina began teaching her kindness and Cy developes emotions and her own personality. Astro Boy was kinda an inspiration for this story lol.
